Their system seems a lot better all the way around. I imagine people pay more attention when there's more urgency to the process. As it is, most people in this country couldn't tell you more than 2 or 3 names of the candidates.

I tire of the endless political machine. I am also tired of career polititians. I think they should all go home, to their JOBS, and only meet for a few weeks a year to do business. Like in the old days :-)

Like in the old days :-) Wouldn't it be great if they were home so much they'd have to mingle with the common folk? Maybe go for breakfast and hear what people think of their voting record? Most of them would turn into hermits though.

And if they became hermits, at least they wouldn't see as many lobbyists ;-) Win-win!
