wildhorseluvr, oh my. I'm glad to hear your brother has made some improvement. I'm sorry your daughter is now having to recover from a heart attack and ketoacidosis. Glad her health event was caught in time and she was able to get tot he hospital for help. Take care of yourself now, it's not uncommon for family members to have stress related health events in these situations. Prayers, of course, continue.

There have been a lot of ups and downs this last week. My brother was released from the hospital in very poor shape yesterday, he passed away this morning.
I appreciate everyone's prayers.

I'm truly sorry you lost your brother. I will pray for your well being as well as your brother's soul, and your peace through out the time of mourning. It is a terrible thing to say your farewells to a loved one across the divide, and I do not pretend to fully understand your pain, but the answer and solace is always with the Father. May he bless you, temper your loss and pain, bring you to a time and place of peace.
I truly wish I had more to offer, but that's what I got on hand. The good stuff comes from better sources...God bless.....Joe

I've lived and worked in hospitals most of my life. I'd prefer not to die in one. I suspect brother wouldn't have wanted to die in one, either.
At times like this, words fail. Best I can do is give you a cyber-hug.

Father, you know wildhorseluvr's heartache. We ask you to hold her and her family close as they walk through their time of grief.

Many thanks to everyone for their prayers. We are doing ok.
I also ask for prayers for my great granddaughter who just turned 2, she has had an odd bone growth in one arm. It has suddenly increased in size and she is being seen at a Shriner's hospital today to determine what is going on.
i am having internet issues, this is the first time I've been able to get online in days. So I may not be able to reply again until I figure out what the problem is and get it fixed.

Oh, no....
God our Father, it is so distressing when a little one develops illness or symptoms that seem fraught with danger. We know that you love children, and that you hold them close. We beg you to heal this child, so that she is returned to complete health, and that her family can rejoice in your goodness and loving mercy. Guide the hands that will examine her. Give them insight, wisdom, and judgment. Most of all, we ask that you give them a big surprise by completely removing the growth in her arm, so that all will glorify your name!
