Still have not resolved the internet issues but it's working temporarily at least. The appt for my great GD went pretty well. Even though the lump has increased considerably, it apparently is not too alarming considering that she is also having growth spurts. They absolutely do not want to do surgery at her age, but they will be scheduling her for checkups every 3 months from now on rather than 6 months to keep a closer eye on it. They say they hope to hold off as long as possible on surgery, and that there is a chance she might even be able to avoid it altogether depending on how fast the lump grows. It could potentially interfere with the growth plates and she would have to have surgery or end up with a deformed arm. I'm thankful that it isn't any worse than that. Thanks for for the prayers! Jolly, I understand my brother insisted on being allowed to go home to see his little dog, whom he'd not seen for a month. My mom stopped to see him that night, she said he was sleeping with the dog (Chihuahua) curled up by his neck. Apparently he didn't wake up the next morning. The ambulance was called but he was totally non responsive by the time they arrived, and was gone by the time they got to the hospital. As you said, better than dying in the hospital. I think maybe he knew he was at the end. The last few years have been pretty rough for him, I'm happy he's in a better place now...no more hospitals.
