I stumbled across this at Lowes today. I used it many years ago and loved it but my supply ran out and I couldn't find it in stores anymore. I finally gave up and forgot about it until today. Now I see that it's available in many stores and online. It was $9 for a can, but I think I'll order a 5 gallon bucket of the stuff.
Read about some of its uses and the science of how it works if that interests you: fluid-film.com It's not just marketing, it really is a great product. And it's semi-natural, based on lanolin from sheep wool.
One of my favorite uses is for spraying my snowblower chute so the snow doesn't stick to it and clog. It works far better than all the other options I know of. Same for mower decks. Also great for spraying the undercarriage of vehicles to prevent rust, protecting battery connections from corrosion, and lubricating hay elevator chains. I even use it on my guns.
I feel like I'm launching into my infomercial mode..."but wait, there's more!" Not many magic potions live up to the hype, but this one does. It's on my top ten great products list.

One of my favorite uses is for spraying my snowblower chute so the snow doesn't stick to it and clog. It works far better than all the other options I know of. --------- Coincidentally... Our local auto, farm store flyer has it on sale.. I have read a lot in small tractor forums, people saying it is good for snow blowers.. Problem today is, I think you have to apply it warm, clean, dry..
Besides, up here it is $12 for an arisol can.. I'm too cheap to spend that much.. Pam style cooking spray is said to work also. Maybe not as good. Sweetie suggested next summer using car wax... Turtle Wax... Wax on, wax off....
