I had an empty pill bottle I wanted to use for something. Got the label off but couldn’t get the adhesive residue to come off. Tried alcohol, Dawn and nail polish remover. Nothing. Did a google and it said use olive oil. What the heck? Gave it a try. Rubbed it on the bottle, left it for 5 minutes and then wiped it all off with a dish rag with dawn. It worked! Sticky residue gone.
Amazing. I would never have guessed.

We use Goo Gone to remove labels, but lots of times it's a very slow and laborious task. Thanks for the tip.

Be very careful with that stuff. We used baby oil 24 years ago and now we don't have a baby anymore.

Now, that's just disgusting! Corn oil is made from corn, olive oil from olives, peanut oil from peanuts. What kind of monster would use baby oil?

What is the matter with the smell of WD40 ?? We like it.. >>>>>>>
I am quite good at "icky, picky" is what Sweetie calls it. That is to peel labels off thing with a thumb nail.. But we have used many of the techniques listed. They all seem to work OK...
