Speaking of alcohol....
Has anyone else seen the teaser on TV for the Busch family's upcoming reality TV show? This is the Busch "beer" family seemingly showing how growing up with a boatload of money can make one stupid.
I am so glad that I have never contributed to their wealth by purchasing some of their watered-down beer.
Nope....there's many blessing from not having tv signal...for cultural knowledge that fact is not common here as most live in 4cities the rural area pay big bucks for satellite and set up can be a few grand before the monthly bill. I can find enough with internet.

It's the ultimate oxymoron to call "Reality TV" reality. Not to say I don't enjoy American Pickers and occasionally Pawn Stars, but it's the obscure facts and interesting items that lure me, not the people.

The few times that I have watched either of those programs there was just not quite enough "obscure facts and interesting items" to justify being subjected to the rest of the filler material.

I don’t have to watch it. I can just imagine my poor white trash family coming into money and know what the results would be.

Say, did you ever eat carp? Would you consider it? I have. 7100 carp ponds, about 10 million carps a year. these ponds are old as the hills, all man made, 1200 years old. These pond farmers have raised carp for generation. This time of year it is seasonable to eat carp, every restaurant in the State/district has carp not only on the menu, people come specifically to eat carp. I guess it is a tradition. It is very tasty, very good. a bit bony, The pond farmers are proud that their carp is the most natural and safe fish to eat. No agricultural sprays, not nothing, just clean springwater and skywater.
They have an annual carp queen... there also is a wine queen.
No beer queen though.

tabitha, Depends on the species and where they lived as to their eating qualities. Our local European Carp down here tend to taste like eating a mouth full of mud, but then again im not big on the taste of many inland fish, much prefer saltwater.
