For what ever reason I'm seeming to remember keeping a spare rebuilt pump available is an exceptionally good idea.. I also believe any good, reliable rebuild shop can work on them easily enough.. The shop may already have a rebuilt on hand..
Until you get a chance to work on it, you can get by with frequent oil changes for a short while..

Speaking of which ... the only thing I don't like about this unit is that it doesn't have a cab or ROPS. Not sure if I could get an aftermarket one added to it ...
Cabs are for sissies.

Cabs are for sissies. ------ I guess that makes me a sissie.... IF, when, I ever get another compact tractor it WILL have a cab.. GGGG HHH
Cabs are for sissies. ---- Maybe in your area.... But.... Come blow snow at my place one day and see how that statement stands up...

Tim, I think the people who live in Michigan's U.P. are crazy. The people who live all the way up in Canada are INSANE!

Tim Horton , I plowed snow using my old 8n tractor for a few years using a grading blade. Oh yeah, plenty cold, and when the blade would catch on something the lightweight tractor would want to slide sideways over a ravine. Then, I welded up this: Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedNow I can sip my coffee while enjoying the full blast heater.
But, I still say cabs on tractors are for sissies. Sort of like chaps, eye and ear protection using a chain saw. (Said the one eyed man as he limped along, talking to to himself because he couldn't hear anyone else.)

All depends what you enjoy.. Wouldn't trade our little patch of bush for anything.. +++++++ Though if you will recall that drug abusing mayor of Toronto, sometimes its the same thing. ------ There are those kind everywhere.. ++++++++++ I guess age and cold hands are big factors in thinking a cab would be nice.. I do remember hours on hours out on the big John Deere 830 feeding livestock, plowing snow, you name it. All without a cab.. But I'm not that tough anymore..

I had a buddy that thought the same way until he opened up a gash on the inside of his thigh from the knee to just about the family jewels. I wasn't there when it happened. After that he left the chainsaw alone and let me do all of the cutting. I always wear chaps. (And not the "pleather" ones that David! wears)

The boss painted her when she came through the parlor this morn so it would be easier for us to find and sort her later. It's a special paint that's used for livestock marking.
And yes, that's Amy the Cow, not to be confused with Amy Who Is Married To Deke, lol.
