Taking the advice of members here, I'm starting this thread as a "sticky". I'll be posting items that are of interest to me, and hopefully others.

The Bruen decision is driving blue state politicians nuts. Gov Hochul in New York is especially in a tizzy, trying to write "gun control" laws that nibble around the edges of the 2nd Amendment, but I seriously doubt the way the Bruen decision is written she or any others will come up with anything that won't be struck down.

Really hard to tell, Tricky Grama . I thought so but it’s being reported it was a female staffer. Maybe so.

Just what we needed, Super Pigs, feral of course. Sort of reminds me of the Alpaca craze of about 15 years ago. Everyone was going to get rich, until they didn't. Then many people who couldn't even give their expensive animals away just turned them loose, along with their Emu's.
Between armadillos migrating north and tearing up properties, while Japanese beetles eat any vegetables they can find, I thought we had more than enough invasive species.
Apparently some genius in Canada decided to "improve" his pigs, but they've become a much more dangerous and destructive Alpaca.

Not sure what was going on in my life when that one came down, but it seems to have slid right past me, somehow. Of course, the MSM would certainly NOT make much noise about it, and I used to rely on Limbaugh for much of my news and did not latch onto the guys who got his time slot, so maybe I was just wandering in the dark at the time. My knee-jerk first question would be how many folks who are languishing in prison over unconstitutional gun related convictions will now be suing for relief, and will they get it? SECOND reaction is we surely will see a number of attempts to convince the general public that we need to get rid of the second amendment completely. Hard for me to believe, though, that my 7 year old grandson will be able to go into the dollar store and buy himself a glock or I will be able to chop down my shotgun barrel to 6 inches, the stock to 8" and carry it in my trench coat pocket, laying it out on the table for comfort while I lunch at a 5 star eatery, or build myself a tommy gun in my shop and sell it on Craigslist..... I think they will work VERY HARD to prevent such liberties, or else completely ignore the supreme court ruling as they have the Heller decision in many cases and go completely hog wild, so be prepared for things to try very hard to get worse instead of better......Joe

joebill, Yeah, I don't care much for Rush's replacements either, they just skim the surface of subjects, and spend way too much time talking about Covid. If the NRA cared more about their purpose for being instead of how much they can skim off memberships for Wayne LaPierre's lifestyle they'd have lawsuits filed in nearly every state. I hadn't thought about all the people serving time for what are now declared unconstitutional laws, but I hope they're working on it.

Apparently some genius in Canada decided to "improve" his pigs, but they've become a much more dangerous and destructive Alpaca. Can’t imagine how anyone thought the European wild boar was going to improve on the modern pig. Nasty animals. Some game farm back in central Oregon had some feral type pigs get loose and go on a mission to destroy everything around them. My Bil was drilling numerous wells on a huge ranch in the area that was overrun by these pigs. The ranch owners declared open season on the pigs. Bil was into hunting so he shot a bunch of them but IIRC they weren’t very edible. Guess a person could possibly use them as pet food or something. Llamas, alpacas and the like…some people did make money on them. Again, big business in central Oregon. I knew the owners of some of the big llama/alpaca farms who had people coming to their sales from all over the world and paying insane prices for these animals. IMHO these are pretty much pyramid schemes, and tax shelters for wealthy NY attorneys. Some of them raised all kinds of weird animals…wallabies, zebras and such. Really, what purpose does anyone have for a wallaby? 🦘🦘🦘 And emus…don’t even get me started on emus…

We discussed it in most of the 2nd half of this thread a few weeks back. countryconservatives.proboards.com/thread/16428/thomas-listens?page=3This is the link to the Bruen decision I quoted from on that page. lawliberty.org/not-a-second-class-right/

New York state is trying to go full England, where "hate speech" is forbidden. Of course, "hate speech" is anything Marxists/leftists don't like. Think Gov Hochul is a whack-job totalitarian? Better not say it! Think CRT is racist and shouldn't be taught to little children? To the delete dumpster with your remarks!
At least some judges, but unfortunately not all, realize tyranny when they see it.

Wasn't there some big to do about pigs in the US was it Minnesota nor Wisconsin where authorities came in and closed him down. I think that was on Homesteading Today. I do.not know about the hogs turned loose in Missouri when the price got so low. Hogs are one creature that can go feral quickly.
