vk.com/video-150568118_456242331"Alexa who will win the 2024 election?" "There will be no presidential election in 2024 and there will be no winner. the country will be under martial law (war powers act of 1973) because of war with Russia and China. The powers will remain in power as they were when it started." A joke? I don't think the war powers act dealt with Martial law.

blackfeather , I'll write the report tomorrow from a Hungarian man who volunteered in the Ukrainian army. Nobody has ever heard of him, and I doubt ever will, but I'm absolutely certain he wouldn't lie to me. He tells an entirely different story, that Russians are running away like chickens from a hawk. Their new weapons are decimating the newly conscripted and untrained Russians, whose weapons were taken out of storage from 1970. Those weapons are crusted with rust from being improperly stored, along with the steel cased ammunition.
See how easy that works? It all depends on whose propaganda you want to believe.
Oh, anyone read anything about the last time Putin was reported attending the Orthodox church he loves so much? Surely that would be publicized.

Yes Ozarks Tom , There are videos of Putin involving himself in a yearly baptism that the Orthodox Russian church does every winter where they dip themselves in water. It looks cold from what I've seen. Just go to You Tube and search Putin at church, several videos will come up, including the baptism video, his Christmas video and others. For everyone else but not Tom, This is a pretty good interview that gives context to what is going on over there. If you don't know about Macgregor, he has a PHD in international relations, engineering degree, currently owns several businesses, led tank battles, was an advisor to Trump. Wikipedia did a hatchet job on him, but you can glean some information about him from it. You'll have to click watch it on you tube. An article about Crimea .. ingaza.wordpress.com/2019/10/10/return-to-russia-crimeans-tell-the-real-story-of-the-2014-referendum-and-their-lives-since/Again it isn't for Tom to read.

Forget about his looks, read his assessment of the conflict in the last section at the end.
And why do we have to pick one side or the other, defending them without question? I see this like the fight between Sunnis and Shi'ites in Iraq. As long as we don't get dragged into it or lose some important strategic spot crucial to our OWN survival, let them work it out or kill each other until they stop. Who cares?

Sorry, but I find it really difficult to expect any sound reasoning from someone who's had a skull tattooed on his face. As to thinking there's any parity in blame from this war, to my thinking that's absurd. Ukraine was no threat to Russia, but Russia saw it as a vassal that had slipped away after the USSR collapsed. Putin's stated goal of Russian re-grouping of it's historic areas under its control couldn't be more evidenced than his invasion of Ukraine. Outright aggression against a neighboring country that is/was of no menace cannot be condoned. blackfeather , Sorry, photo-ops don't count. Tell me when the ex-KGB man is a regular in church.

Likewise, I don't expect "sound reasoning" from a KKK guy with swastikas and SS lightening bolts tattooed on his body either. But I might be inclined to believe him when he told me that he wasn't the only guy in town like that and they had meetings on a regular basis. Especially if I'd been to his house and seen his associates. And while I don't condone their racist views, I acknowledge they do exist. It's pretty easy to believe when you grew up a few miles from St Cloud Fl and know the area well. If he went over there, you can bet it was because he already knew there were like minded people already there, so I wouldn't automatically dismiss everything he says cuz ya don't like his tattoos. Just sayin.
War is hell. So before making the decision to jump in someone else's fight, it's a good idea to think about EVERYTHING involved. Afterwards, it's too late.

blackfeather , Sorry, photo-ops don't count. Tell me when the ex-KGB man is a regular in church. You didn't ask that, you asked if anyone ever saw him in church, the answer is yes, as to how often he actually goes that is another question. And I don't know. We in the US have a lot of C&E Christians, they show up for Christmas and Easter. They still consider themselves Christian though. I consider myself Christian and I don't go anywhere, I stay home and study the Bible. What I do know is that the Russian leadership does refer to the Bible, and Jesus in speeches something that our current leaders won't do. Our current leaders are almost anti-God, (especially the Democrats,) at least the Russian leaders are pro-God and pro-Bible morality. Let me clear up one other point, Putin's mother taught him to honor the Orthodox Church. His father was an atheist. When he went to school, they saw he was bright they told him which college he was going to attend and what courses he was to take. When he graduated, they told him where he was going to work. They assigned him to the KGB for a time. He didn't really have a choice, unless he wanted to be assigned to a gulag in Siberia. You'd do the same if you lived in the USSR. Once he came to power, he directed all schools to teach a religion course, he allowed Judaism, Hindu, Buddhism, Christian, and Muslim, (If you are not mainstream Protestant, you can practice your religion but not proselytize. They aren't as free as we are here in the west, JW's and Mormons wouldn't have the freedoms to proselytize there along with other minor religions (they think of them as cults), but Baptists, Methodists and the like are free to practice and proselytize.) Students are required to study at least one religion. We have all been told to hate Putin the same as with Assad of Syria, but the people in these countries overwhelmingly support these leaders, so obviously these leaders are what is best for they countries they lead. Whether we like them or not is of no consequence. I've been looking into Assad lately; he doesn't seem all that bad to me. So I ignore what our propagandists say about him and do my own research. Same with Putin, I've listened to his speeches translated, and watched him give them, he is what is best for Russia.

Blackfeather Don’t know how to find it or if it was scrubbed. It’s a video of Putin playing the organ in one of the big churches. As to education there are videos of him speaking better English than a lot of American people do.
