This is what I have read here recently. I thought it embarrassing to post this - but now, I really don't give a flippin' fig. I remember being a young gal many moons ago and since my husband and I have been taking weekly treks to the library - I went to see if they actually had this book that I had enjoyed so many years ago -- and they did! It was a quick read but it sure did take me back... "Island Of The Blue Dolphins"
Perhaps next week I will tackle and overcome: War And Peace.

Perhaps next week I will tackle and overcome: War And Peace. Hey, quick read…only about 1200 pgs. 👍🏻 Don’t forget the Gulag Archipelago, it’s just a few hundred pages longer. 😉 Why be embarrassed over what you read? (Unless it’s in the Playboy category.) Reading is simply for knowledge and or entertainment. Every once in awhile I go back and read a childhood favorite, which might be anything from The Third Reich to Little Women. 😁

"tackle and overcome" There are two books I have tried and failed to read: 'Catch 22' and 'The Fountainhead' Got about a chapter into each and just had to set it down and read something else. I'll get back to them one day-- I have 'The Fountainhead' and will find the other one of these days

Y'all remind me of the guy who'd learned to "speed read". Said he read War and Peace in an afternoon, it was about Russia.

Y'all remind me of the guy who'd learned to "speed read". Said he read War and Peace in an afternoon, it was about Russia. 😂 One of the few advantages of having a memory problem is that by the time I finish reading those 1200 page books, I have trouble remembering what I read. Everything is like new again. When the SHTF, I’ll be able to recycle my home library ad infinitum. 👍🏻

I'm working my way through 2 books right now. The last book (book 10) in the 299 Days series. I've read the series a few times, but never book 10. I'm trying to get through it, again. Books 1-9 are great....book 10 is a wrap-up of what 43 people did during the collapse that made them worthy of the honorary title of colonel. Nice as it gives ideas on what an untrained person can do....but not my kind of reading either. Books 1-9 are worth the read....Book 1 being the best (in my mind). I'm also working through Natural Antibiotics & Botanical Treatments. Pick this up at Ollies for $4. I've seen people reference it over the years, so I was happy with my find

Starting the "long winter's reading marathon," a little early this year with MALABAR FARM by Louis Bromfield. After I read this the first, or maybe it was the second time, we visited Malabar Farm and found it to be very interesting. At that time, back in the late 60s or so, there were guided tours available. Anyway, Mr. Bromfield was a very forward, and controversial, thinker and farmer. It is interesting even if you don't agree with all his ideas, because they cause you to think for yourself; a much-neglected exercise in this day and age.
This book also started me on a project of reading all the Louis Bromfield books, including a good bit of fiction, that I could find. I still enjoy his style of writing.

Not sure what I’ve got myself into this time. Was looking for new reading material the other day and stopped at a thrift store where the books are cheap and the owners usually give me freebies. I spotted a “sequel” to Mein Kampf, called My New Order, published in’41. It’s a collection of Hitler’s speeches set in commentary.
Looked it up online, and discovered it’s fairly rare, selling on one site from $172.50 to $950. Mine is missing the dust cover and is marked on the inside cover so would likely be more in the neighborhood of $100-$125. The thrift store owner charged me $2 for a DVD, 50 cents each for 2 other books and didn’t charge me for the Hitler book so I guess if I sell it later I’ll come out well on that deal. 👍🏻
It’s approx. 1,000 pages and Hitler wasn’t exactly an exciting speaker so I expect this book may sit on my end table for months as I wade through a chapter or two at a time. Trump supposedly read this book (to learn how to control the population, obviously 🙄. If he did read it, I suspect he was interested in what drives such an evil person, and perhaps if there’s a similarity to what is happening to the US (which is why I want to read it). Guess if I don’t like the book I can always keep it on my nightstand as a backup to my revolver.

Picked up 4 books recently by a local author (friend of DH’s), finished all of them. Then bought a WWII book (autobiography of a rifle co.), The Men of Company K. Absolutely the most detailed book from the infantryman’s perspective that I’ve ever read. Also interesting to me as at one point they fought very near my Fil’s 821st Tank Destroyer Battalion at the Roer river.

Just finished 'Station Eleven' by Emily St John Mandel. Strange tale from 2014 swings between celebrity magazine 'Before' and PAW fiction 'After'.
Next to read is 2009 'The Windup Girl' by Paolo Bacigalupi set in an urban PAW Thailand.

I just finished "the real anthony fauci" by robert f kennedy jr.
Fauci is a scumbag psychopath leaving a trail of death where ever he goes. Because he controls all grant money that is distributed for medical and health research he has the power to make or break people. Play ball you get grants go against him your ruined. He holds patent rights to some of the drugs that the pharma companies manufacture and gets royalties. Along with many others in the NIH. Thus corrupting themselves with pharma profits and supporting drugs that benefit them financially even if poisonous.
A Chapter by Chapter over view: Chapter 1 no scientific evidence for actions taken , masks social distancing. Vaccines only plan, ignoring any other solution. Fauci suppressed any potential other solution. Demonizing hydroxychloroquine, both fauci and big pharma with fraudulent studies, persecutions of doctors that prescribed it. Demonization of Ivermectin same play book and influencing doctors by threatening them with removal of funds so they come out against it. Remdesivir, around pre-covid but too dangerous to use. Failed Ebola trials. Failed Chinese Trials but were declared a success any way. Destroys liver, kidneys. Many who died of "covid" no doubt died of Remdesivir. Vaccines, they are leaky not conferring immunity, Pathogenic Priming or ADE are past problems with these types of vaccines. 1 no long term trials, thus no finding of long term problems 2 refusal to fix the VAERS system with a better one they have, but won't use. 3 use social media companies to make injuries and deaths disappear 4 discourage autopsies 5 populate FDA, CDC, with Fauci or Gate's people to rubber stamp vaccine approval. 6 vaccinate everyone so there is no control group . make statistics tell the story they want not what they really show. Highly vaccinated countries suffering the worst showing ADE or Pathogenic Priming the likely reason. Record deaths from vaccine, and hiding those deaths from the public.
Chapter 2 Fauci under his rule public health declines. Teams up with Pharma Industry instead of doing public health Chapter 3 AIDS is the template for profiting off of drugs. using people of influence "PI" (doctors professors) to push agendas. These people depend on grants which if they play ball are rewarded if not punished. Using these co-operative PIs boards, committees ect. are populated with them and they rubber stamp what Fauci wants. Chapter 4 AIDS and AZT, dangerous drug very poisonous used to treat aids. AIDS used to get money from Congress to fatten budgets. What was learned with AIDS used with Covid for making money and forcing drugs through without proper oversight. Chapter 5 Patients who have AIDS some have HIV some don't , supression of people who have other ideas to the cause of AIDS, punished. Man who discovered HIV admits to stealing the idea from another scientist. AIDS in Africa, the nebulous AIDS symptoms could be explained by a variety of commons sicknesses already around in Africa. Lots of money to fight AIDS in Africa donated, worth lots of money. Chapter 6 Destroying those who have other Ideas as to what causes AIDS. All about the Money. AZT drug killing more than AIDS, HHV6 possible cause of AIDS, known to be nasty virus. But HIV still declared the virus and HHV6 only assisting in making people sick. Other various possible causes listed. Chapter 7 illegal experiments on children from orphanage and foster system, many die. Chapter 8 Then on to Africa where even more experimentation and even more deaths. Abuse of mothers and children with dangerous drugs that can't be tested in the west due to dangers. Chapter 9 Gates and Fauci test drugs /vaccines in Africa causing even more damage. miasma vs germ theory, miasma: germs all over the place, many inside us, but ill health, poor diet , dirty water allows disease germs to proliferate. Germ theory everything is germs that need to be eliminated or vaccinated against your health an immunity have nothing to do with it. Germ theory won and the pharma companies make big bucks. HIV vaccine in Africa increases risks of AIDS. Gates controls WHO, due to high dontations. Head of WHO a Gates buddy. Chapter 10 Gates tests drugs, vaccines in Africa, India. DTP shot kills Africans, not safe to use in the west so they are dumped into Africa. Same with many drugs considered unsafe are then donated to Africa. Vaccines with mercury forbidden in US go to Africa. Deadly malaria vaccine tested. Lethal meningitis vaccine experiments. Population sterilization used. Adverse side effects of drugs hidden to Africans. Same in India. Chapter 11 Phony epidemics to get funding. swine flu, bird flu, swine flu 2009, zika, likely caused by defective vaccines given to pregnant mothers. Dengue fever. All to get a fat budget. Chapter 12 Germ games, playing games on how to manage a crisis. Anthrax in the mail. One lab source of the possible anthrax suddenly became profitable after this attack. Selling vaccines to the US government. On the verge of going bankrupt before. Dark winter gaming a bio attack. merging of military interests, CIA, Pharma and government in these games. Atlantic storm 2003, 2005,-small pox game. global mercury 2003- small pox game. SCL 2005- small pox. Then idea of using disease as a means of locking down society and curtailing civil rights- Lockstep 2010 social and political control germs scare people into giving up rights. Mars2017 respiratory virus simulation using lock downs. Spars 2017- coronavirus coopting institutions, subverting democratic governance, controlling dissent, movement, and taking away rights of people. Crimson contagion 2019 key players would in 2 months be the ones controlling the covid pandemic. novel flu virus simulated. Supposed to be secret but freedom of information act request exposed the simulation. Event 201 a corona virus aside from police state like actions, the control of information and narrative management was top on the list of gaming. Finally the actual covid 19 virus and they followed the scripts they worked out through all these simulations. Covid 19 military greatly involved.
That is a very quick overview. One thing came through clearly, Washington is full of these type of people, psychopaths and sociopaths all out for money and power. Fauci is one bad one but there are hundreds and hundreds of these people, probably thousands in Washington. One of the most evil places on earth.

I've started reading Glenn Beck's The Great Reset. It's not so much a conspiracy essay as a documented explanation of the plan the elites have for us. He quotes them. What's surprising is how open these people like Klaus Schwab, head of the World Economic Forum, are about their plans for domination. He best have lots of bodyguards.

You’d think at some point these people would have acquired *enough* money, but they never seem to reach that point (Nancy Pelosi, anyone?). Perhaps the real issue is that money = power and that’s the real goal. Which boils down to pride (thinking you’re better than others) which is rebellion against our Creator. JMHO, but liberals never seem to be able to just live their lives according to their beliefs, they always want control over yours.
